After the holidays are over, it's hard to resist the urge to pack up all the decorations and restore your home to it's normal order.
Some things get put back where they were before the tree invaded, other things find a new home.
But it feels good and refreshing to clean the surfaces and set everything aright. As wonderful as Christmas is, the decorations start to feel overwhelming after a while.
So here's to Home with all it's seasons; merry and festive, clean and bright.
How about you? Do you pack up the decor the day after New Years? Or even before that? Or do you like to revel in the season as long as possible?
I would have loved to have the Christmas tree up a little longer, but we got super excited and bought it early so by New Years, ornaments were falling off the sagging branches and pine needles were EVERYWHERE. Needless to say, I was ready to get rid of that beast.
